Despite having a promiscuous past, Luke has an amazing, affectionate, overall wonderful girlfriend named Laura, who loves to cook and bake for him. But, he is also dangerously close to his socially awkward stepbrother Eric. He enjoys playing video games and spending time with Eric, but also loves Laura dearly and doesn't want to ever lose her.
Luke hangs out with Eric often to prevent Eric from slipping into a deep unhealthy avoidance of people. When they are behind closed doors, they get intimately close. He ends his days though cuddling with Laura and having a healthy relationship with her to balance the unhealthy relationship with Eric.
He knows what he has with Eric is wrong, but he also doesn't want it to end. Despite what he refused to do, he feels some guilt about his relationship with Eric. Will Laura ever find out about this secret relationship that has been going on for years? Or will Eric ever finally end his relationship with Luke to focus on the woman of his dreams?

This review is probably the shortest I have ever written, but honestly, how much can I say about a book that ends at 13%?Yes, this seriously ends at 13-bloody-percent and then has 5 extra novella's included, which I will admit, I didn't bother reading.
For such a short story, it was a slow read that was extremely predictable with overused sentences that left me wanting to throw my kindle and that's not including the cheating.
Total disappointment.

Sorry. One star. There should be more showing than telling. The author needs to show emotions. Get into the character's head. Slow down. The story feels rushed.
The title story is a nice short third wheel type of story, easy to read, 13% of the book. The rest is a collection of other short stories. There are stepbrothers, stepsisters and messing around.
In a short story it may be impossible to develop much romance, but some action there is, though.
Don't expect much M/M in this collection, either.
